Just to let you know that East Gate House of Prayer will be meeting at Grace Harvest this coming Monday August 30th from 7-9. Grace Harvest meets at Douglas Ave. Christian Church at the North end of Douglas Ave. (actually East end in the North end!) I would encourage you to join us for this time of worship and intercession. POTC has not met in a couple of weeks as we have felt to take a break. The next step will be discerning and moving into what God has next. I am really excited about the possibilities! The prayer network in this City is vital right now so I encourage you to join us as we seek the Lord together for City and Regional transformation! Maybe we will see you on Monday evening at Grace Harvest! Blessings to you as we step into yet another season with the Lord! Jen Smith
Date: 8/17/2010 I just wanted to draw your attention to an event that is happening this Friday August 20th at 7:30 at St. Malachys High School. A group of young folks from the Catholic Church in the South End are organizing an interdenominational Youth Worship event called "We are the Body". There are a couple of Churches helping out with music including myself and Michael. This is answered prayer as weeks ago at a Prayer Over the City gathering, we were praying for Unity in the Body! We are seeing this happening around us! Praise God for the young people in getting a vision for this! May it be multiplied in our City! UNITY Please join us if you can in holding this event up in prayer and if you are able to attend, you are welcome! In the meantime, keep pursuing the King! We will keep you posted about future POTC gatherings soon. In Christ Jen Smith

Date: 7/25/2010 I hope you had a great weekend!! Here is the latest on Micah...... Blessings!! Dave Hi Everyone, Katie just called and Micah is home!!! The plastic surgeon saw him late this afternoon and said he does not need surgery, he will heal on his own!. His cheek bone is fractured but not shattered, some nerve damage but it will heal in 6-8 weeks. The break in his nose is the kind that will heal up well too. He was not happy with the stitching over his eye and said he wants the stiches out on Monday and if Micah doesn't like what he sees, he will re do them. He is on crutches, off work for two weeks, on pain medicine as needed and just needs to rest. So needless to say we are all wild with excitement and praise!! If only you could have seen him 48 hours ago and then see him now, you would know what a miracle God has done!! We are humbled at God's expression of love, grace and power. Thank you again from all of our family, Rhonda and David Date: 7/24/2010 Hi All,
We have so much to be thankful for! I t is amazing to see the power of prayer in action with the wonderful news about Micah Peterson's quick recovery! Praise God!
We don't want to lose sight and momentum in this important time of prayer for our City. Thank you to all who gathered last Wednesday at Stone Church. It was an amazing time of worship and intercession for the Unity of the Body in this region.
For those who were unable to attend, we are going to gather again on THURSDAY JULY 29TH (7:00 PM) AT TAYLOR COLLEGE, 105 MOUNTAINVIEW DR. IN SAINT JOHN. We are very fortunate to have Taylor College and Threshold Ministries National Headquarters (formerly Church Army) based in Saint John. This Ministry is vital to the raising up and training of Evangelists in the Body of Christ. Please join us as we seek the Lord together for the Destiny of this Ministry to be fulfilled in our midst. All are welcome!
Blessings to All!
Jen & Michael Smith
Date: 7/22/2010 Hi Again!! Here's the latest from Dave and Rhonda........ Praise The Lord, but do keep praying for a complete recovery!! Blessings!! Dave W Hi, We are so happy to report that Micah has had an amazing day! The swelling in his face went down significantly, the cat scan showed no swelling on the brain, he was able to open his left eye and there was no damage to his sight. The neurologist said he is pleased with his progress and now the plastic surgeon needs to look at the catscan reports and decide if some reconstruction is needed to is face. If so, he will need to stay in the hospital for that surgery, if not he may be able to go home early next week. It has been a very emotional 24 hours but we are so grateful to God for sparing Micah's life. The doctor said the fact that he was wearing his helmet saved his life. We are still not sure exactly what happened but a witness told the police Micah was biking uphill, standing up, with his head down when a tractor trailer pulled out. Probably the driver didn't see Micah and Micah didn't see him so they collided. Micah took the impact to his face. It is a miracle that he did not break any other bones. He has a bad,, sprain/ fractured ankle but that's it, besides his face. Micah has been very moved and touched by those who have already come to see him and just be with Katie. His cousin Sarah and her husband Davey showed up last night shortly after we arrived and surprised us all. It was time for a good cry! So they had a extra long day. They had driven from Montreal yesterday to pick up Sarah's sister, Rebecca, who flew home from Europe. Sarah stayed over night and watched Eben today. Thanks guys! We love you! Katie has been amazing! She is due with their second child in 5 weeks so we are all praying the baby doe not come early! She needs her coach by her side. God is at work drawing his people together in prayer and we are so thankful for each one of you. It is so wonderful to belong to the Body of Christ especially at times like this. We are not alone, what a comforting thought. Expressions of love are already pouring in and we are overwhelmed by the love and care of family and friends for our children. We will bring Eben home tonight and his Nana Stewart will pick it up tomorrow evening and be with him and Katie on the weekend. We are hosting an IFFD on Sat so we would appreciate prayer. We were willing to cancel but Micah wants us to carry on. Hearts full of gratitude and praise Rhonda and David Date: 7/22/2010 Micah had a bad accident yesterday, he collided with a transport truck on his bicycle, we are in Moncton with Katie and would appreciate prayer. Micah suffered a severe concussion and amnesia, broken bones on the left side of his face, bruises all over and a sprained ankle. He was stable last night when we came home to rest a bit. We are on our way to the hospital right now to see the neurologist, he will have another catscan today and the plastic surgeon will have a consultation to see what he needs done. We'll update everyone later today. Thank you for praying Rhonda and David Date: 7/21/2010 Just a quick note to ask that you would pray for Micah Peterson, Dave and Rhonda Peterson's son. He was hit by a transport truck as he was riding his bike, so please keep him in your prayers. Thank you and God Bless you all!! Dave
Date: 7/7/2010 Hello Everyone!
I hope this great warm summer weather is keeping you well and not too hot. I said it was going to be a hot summer, thank goodness it cools off in the evenings!
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us on Wednesday July 21st at 7:00 pm at St. John's (Stone) Church at 87 Carleton St. for a time of seeking what the Lord is saying to us in these days. Of course with a recent change in leadership with POTC, one of the questions I have been asking the Lord is, what is next? and how should we proceed? I do beleive the Lord is going to continue to release us to tackle strategic points through prayer as we are faithful to pray "onsite with insight."
So if you feel to join us on this date, please do come. I appreciate your dedication to see this City and Region transformed for the Lord.
Many blessings and Greater Revelation Released to God's people!
Sincerely,
Jen Smith

Date: 4/18/2010 Date: 4/18/2010 Some times, these days, it is really hard to see that it is Spring, especially back here in the Maritimes. We know that it is because our calendars tell us so, but the weather is not all that warm, the rain is cold, and the flowers have yet to appear on the earth (at least around my house). But Spring is here and with it comes change. So this is just a quick little note to let you know of some changes that are happening in the Warren family. Joanne and I have been hearing the call of the Lord, to rejoin family in Saskatchewan, so our plan is to head west the first week of July, Lord willing. Prayer Over The City will continue to meet Friday afternoons at Germain Street Baptist Church, and we will continue to pray for this great old city. We will be sending out a note about some "coming events," so stay tuned. It has been great to work and labour with you all, and hopefully we will see you before we go. I do want to thank each one of you, and your families for releasing you to come and pray, and for lending your time and talent to praying for this great old city. We know that God is going to pour out revival here, and so we wait with you for the manifestation of His promises and destiny! May the Lord bless you richly!! Because of Calvary!! Dave Warren
Date: 4/17/2010 Back last fall, when the team were here from the National House of Prayer, they gave us an invitation to send a team to Ottawa to pray on Parliament Hill. Well, aside from the miscommunication between Rob and his wife, Fran, we still have have an opportunity to send a small team of intercessors to Ottawa, from June 7th to 12th. If you are interested in going please email me back as soon as possible and we will make arrangements for you. The cost is $60.00 per night, for 5 nights, and that includes accommodations, meals, teaching and NHOP's leadership on to Parliament Hill. If you are interested I can email you a detailed list of what will take place when we are there. Just let me know. Thanks again for your commitment to pray for this great nation, and this wonderful old city!! Much love and many answered prayers!! Dave
Date: 3/10/2010 Just a note of clarification and correction..... when we shared about the dream our friend had, in the dream she was told to prophecy to the water mains, and then they would explode and the resulting flood would affect the outlying areas of the city. Be Blessed..... and get ready!! Love and blessings!! Dave
Date: 3/10/2010 Good Sunny Afternoon!! I just wanted to let you know that if you weren't able to make our meeting last Saturday night at "Stone" Church, you were missed, but we had a great time sharing what the Lord has been speaking to us all!! Indeed, our purpose for our get together was to gather the intercessors and to "compare notes" as it were, as to what the Lord has been speaking to us, over the past month or so. After Michael and Jen Smith led us in an awesome time of worship, welcoming the presence of God in our midst, we turned it loose, and here is what we were hearing: - there needs to be an increase in our faith level.... we need to have our eyes wide open to all that the Lord is about to do, and is doing in our lives, and we need to grow our faith - God is anointing the "word of our testimony"..... there is power in what we say - God is restoring "dead oil wells"..... He is restoring the ancient wells, that were seemingly dead and dry, and we will find new oil there - God is releasing warfare through the sound of our worship (Isa. 30:29-30 & Ps. 118:15-16), and there will be rejoicing and salvation - God is going to cause an explosive breakthrough through the old conduits (We shared a dream a friend had, where she saw the water mains in the city exploding, and flooding the streets - there were three "aspects" to the dream: not to worry, speak and don't think, and brains will be "healed") - it was shared that is time to "see into the Now" - another shared on not to fear..... Isa. 12 - in light of the Olympics, and Canada's participation, there was a weeping and intercession for unity and oneness, and a need for child-like faith, and a breaking off of complacency - some were hearing the call to harvest.... Matt 9.... and seeing/hearing a release of compassion - God is revealing His extravagant love for us, His kids, and is calling us to Himself; that He is opening doors that no man can open and shutting doors that no man can shut ..... from compassion and passion, comes new birth - it was shared that the genuineness (trial) of our faith is more precious than gold - some scriptures that were shared were Rev. 3:17-18 & Rev. 22.... where the battle rages - Ezek. 44:4 was shared, and from that chapter, where the prophet is told to see with his eyes, and hear with his ears and to set his heart upon all that the Lord was about to show him..... and so it is to be with us "today!" Again some interesting themes began to emerge..... the need for an increase in our faith; the revelation of His extravagant love for us; the need to have eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart to respond; and how the Lord is going to revive the "ancient," in an explosive manner, so that there will be a harvest. Again, it was an awesome time!! We plan on looking to do this again in a month or so, "stay tuned!!" God bless you and lets continue to pray into these themes, to see His glory cover the earth - Saint John - as the water covers the sea!! Much love and many blessings!! Dave Date: 3/2/2010 Good Afternoon, You Dear Saints!! Just a quick note to remind you that our next "Get Together" will be at Stone Church, this Saturday evening, March 6th, at 7:00 PM...... to hear "what the Spirit is saying to the Churches." We had an awesome time up in Grand Bay on Feb. 6th, and I would encourage all those who weren't able to make it then to join us this Saturday. We really want to hear what you are hearing as you seek the Lord!! So may we see you there, then...... Saturday, March 6th, at Stone Church, at 7:00 PM? God bless you richly.... with much love!! Dave Warren Date: 2/14/2010 (Sorry for that blank email.... just checking to see if you were awake..... :) Speaking of Saints..... did you know "Saints Win!!" Indeed, we win!! (yes, and so did the Super Bowl New Orleans Saints!!) Just a quick note to confirm our next "Get Together" will be at Stone Church, on Saturday evening, March 6th, at 7:00 PM...... to hear "what the Spirit is saying to the Churches." We had an awesome time up in Grand Bay last Saturday, and I would encourage all those who weren't able to make it last week to join us the first Saturday in March. We want to hear what you are hearing as you seek the Lord!! So may we see you there, then...... Saturday, March 6th, at Stone Church, at 7:00 PM? God bless you richly.... with much love!! Dave Warren
